Strana: Doamne, îndurate și milostive, îndelung-răbdătorule și mult milostive, ascultă rugăciunea noastră și ia aminte la glasul cererii noastre. Fă cu noi semn spre bine; îndreptează-ne pe calea Ta, ca să umblăm întru adevărul Tău; veselește inimile noastre ca să ne temem de numele Tău cel sfânt, pentru că mare ești Tu și lucruri minunate faci. Tu singur ești Dumnezeu și nu este nimeni asemenea Ție, Doamne: puternic întru mila și bun întru tărie, spre a ajuta și a mângâia și a mântui pe toti cei ce nădăjduiesc întru numele Tău cel sfânt.	Kliros: O Lord, compassionate and merciful, long-suffering and of great mercy, give heed to our prayer, and attend to the voice of our supplication. Work upon us a sign for good. Strana: Doamne, nu cu mânia Ta să ne mustri, nici cu urgia Ta să ne cerți, ci fă cu noi, după mila Ta, Doctorule și Tămăduitorule al sufletelor noastre. Îndreptează-ne la limanul voii Tale; luminează ochii inimilor noastre spre cunoașterea adevărului Tău; și ne dăruiește cealaltă vreme a zilei de acum și toată vremea vieții noastre în pace și fără de păcat a o petrece, pentru rugăciunile Preasfintei Născătoare de Dumnezeu și ale tuturor sfinților.	Kliros: O Lord, in Thy displeasure, rebuke us not, neither chasten us in Thy wrath, but deal with us according to Thy tenderness O Physician and Healer of our souls. Guide us unto the haven of Thy will. Strana: Doamne, Dumnezeul nostru, adu-Ți aminte de noi păcătoșii și netrebnicii robii Tăi, când chemăm numele Tău cel sfânt, si să nu ne lași pe noi rușinați în așteptarea milei Tale, ci ne dăruiește, Doamne, împlinirea tuturor cererilor cele spre mântuire. Și ne învrednicește să te iubim și să ne temem de Tine, din toată inima noastră și să facem întru toate voia Ta.	Kliros: O Lord our God, remember us thy sinful and unprofitable servants when we call upon thy holy, venerable name, and put us not to shame in our expectation of thy mercy, but grant us, O Lord, all our petitions which are unto salvation, and make us worthy to love and fear thee with all our hearts, and to do thy will in all things.

Kliros: O Thou to whom the holy Powers sing with unending hymns and unceasing doxologies, fill our mouths with Thy praise, that we may magnify Thy Holy name. Kliros: O Lord, Lord, who upholdest all things in the most pure hollow of Thy hand, who art long-suffering toward us all, and repentest Thee at our wickedness, remember Thy compassion and Thy mercy.
Strana: Cercetează-ne pe noi întru bunătatea Ta, și cu harul Tău dă-ne ca, și în cealaltă vreme a zilei de acum, să scăpăm de meșteșugirile vicleanului, cele de multe feluri, și păzește fără de bântuială viața noastră, cu harul Preasfântului Tău Duh.	Kliros: Look upon us with Thy goodness; grant unto us also by Thy grace, through the remainder of the present day, to avoid the divers subtle snares of the Evil One, and keep our lives unassailed, through the grace of Thine all-Holy Spirit.

Strana: Dumnezeule cel mare și minunat, Care cu bunătatea cea nespusă și cu purtarea de grijă cea multă chivernisești toate și ne-au dăruit bunătățile Tale cele din lume și ne-ai chezășuit împărăția cea făgăduită, prin bunătățile cele dăruite nouă; Cel ce ne-ai ajutat, și în partea cea trecută a zilei, să ne abatem de la tot răul, dăruiește-ne ca și pe cea rămasă să o săvârșim fără de prihană înaintea sfintei slavei Tale, ca să Te lăudăm pe Tine, Dumnezeul nostru, Cel singur bun și de oameni iubitor.	Kliros: O God, great and wonderful, who, with goodness indescribable and rich providence orderest all things and grantest unto us earthly goods, who hast given us a pledge of the promised Kingdom through the good things already granted unto us, and hast made us to shun all harm during that part of the present day which is past, grant that we may also fulfil the remainder of this day blamelessly before Thy Holy glory, and hymn Thee, our God, who alone art good and lovest man.

Strana: Dumnezeule cel mare și preaînalt, Cel ce singur ai nemurire și locuiești întru lumina cea neapropiată; Care ai făcut toată zidirea cu înțelepciune; Cel ce ai despărțit lumina de întuneric și ai pus soarele spre stăpânirea zilei, iar luna și stelele spre stapânirea nopții; Care ne-ai învrednicit pe noi păcătoșii și în ceasul de acum să întâmpinăm fața Ta cu mărturisire și să-Ți aducem laudă de seară; Însuți, Iubitorule de oameni, îndreptează rugăciunea noastră ca tămâia înaintea Ta și o primește ca pe o mireasă cu bun miros. Seara de acum și noaptea ce vine, liniștite dăruiește-ni-le nouă; îmbracă-ne cu armele luminii; izbăvește-ne de frica nopții și de tot lucrul ce se petrece în întuneric. Și ne dăruiește somnul, pe care l-ai dat spre odihna neputinței noastre, ferit de toată nălucirea diavolească. Așa, Stăpâne a toate, Dătătorule de bunătăți, ca și în așternuturile noastre, umilindu-ne, să pomenim noaptea numele Tău, și cu gândul la poruncile Tale luminându-ne, să ne sculăm întru bucurie sufletească, spre lauda bunătății Tale, aducând rugăciuni și cereri milostivirii Tale, pentru păcatele noastre și ale întreg poporului Tău, pe care, pentru rugăciunile Preasfintei Născătoarei de Dumnezeu, întru mila îl cercetează.	Kliros: O great and most high God, who alone hast immortality, and dwellest in light unapproachable, who hast fashioned all creation in wisdom, who hast divided the light from the darkness, and hast set the sun to rule the day and the moon and stars to rule the night, who hast also vouchsafed unto us sinners at this present hour to come before Thy presence with confession and to present unto Thee our evening doxology, do Thou thyself, O Lord, Lover of man, direct our prayer as incense before Thee, and accept it for an odour of sweet fragrance, and grant that our present evening and coming night be peaceful. Clothe us with the armour of light. Deliver us from the fear of night, and from everything that walketh in darkness, and grant that the sleep that Thou hast given for the repose of our infirmity may be free from every fantasy of the Devil. Yea, O Master of all, Leader of the good, may we, being moved to compunction upon our beds, remember Thy name in the night. And, enlightened by the exercise of Thy commandments, may we rise up in joyfulness of soul to the glorification of Thy goodness, and offer supplications and prayers unto Thy tenderness of heart, for our own sins and those of all Thy people, whom do thou look upon in mercy, through the intercessions of the Holy Theotokos.

Strana: Binecuvintează, suflete al meu pe Domnul! Doamne Dumnezeul meu măritu-Te-ai foarte! În strălucire și în mare podoabă Te-ai îmbrăcat, Cel ce Te îmbraci cu lumina ca și cu o haină; Cel ce întinzi cerul ca un cort; Cel ce acoperi cu ape cele mai de deasupra ale lui. Cel ce pui norii suirea Ta; Cel ce umbli peste aripile vânturilor; Cel ce faci pe îngerii Tăi duhuri și pe slugile Tale pară de foc; Cel ce ai întemeiat pământul pe temeliile lui și nu se va clătina în veacul veacului. Adâncul ca o haină este îmbrăcămintea Lui; peste munți vor sta ape. De certarea Ta vor fugi, de glasul tunetului Tău se vor înfricoșa. Se suie munți și se coboară văi, în locul în care le-ai întemeiat pe ele. Hotar ai pus, pe care nu-l vor trece și nici nu se vor întoarce să acopere pământul. Cel ce trimiți izvoare în văi, prin mijlocul munților vor trece ape, adăpa-se-vor toate fiarele câmpului, asinii sălbatici setea își vor potoli. Peste acelea păsările cerului vor locui,din mijlocul stâncilor vor da glas. Cel ce adăpi munții din cele mai de deasupra ale Tale, din rodul lucurilor Tale se va sătura pământul. Cel ce răsari iarbă dobitoacelor și verdeața spre trebuința oamenilor; ca să veselească fața cu untdelemn. Și pâinea omului o întărește. Sătura-se-vor copacii câmpului, cedrii Libanului pe care i-ai sădit, acolo păsările își vor face cuib. Locașul cocostârcului în chiparoși. Munții cei înalți adăpost cerbilor stâncile scăpare iepurilor. Făcut-ai luna spre vremi, soarele și-a cunoscut apusul său. Pus-ai întuneric și s-a făcut noapte când vor ieși toate fiarele pădurii; puii leilor mugesc ca să apuce și să ceară de la Dumnezeu mâncarea lor. Răsărit-a soarele și s-au adunat și în culcușurile lor se vor culca. Ieși-va omul la lucrul său și la lucrarea sa până seara. Cât s-au mărit lucrurile Tale, Doamne, toate cu înțelepciune le-ai făcut! Umplutu-s-au pământul de zidirea Ta. Marea aceasta este întinsă și largă; acolo se găsesc târâtoare, cărora nu este număr, vietăți mici și mari. Acolo corăbiile umblă; balaurul acesta pe care l-ai zidit, ca să se joace în ea. Toate către Tine așteaptă ca să le dai lor hrană la bună vreme. Dându-le Tu lor, vor aduna.	Kliros: Bless the Lord, O my soul; O Lord my God, Thou hast been magnified exceedingly. Confession and majesty hast Thou put on, Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, Who stretchest out the heaven as it were a curtain; Who supporteth His chambers in the waters, Who appointeth the clouds for His ascent, Who walketh upon the wingsof the winds, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire, Who establisheth the earth in the sureness thereof; it shall not be turned back for ever and ever. The abyss like a garment is His mantle; upon the mountains shall the waters stand. At Thy rebuke they will flee, at the voice of Thy thunder shall they be afraid. The mountains rise up and the plains sink down, unto the place where Thou hast established them. Thou appointedst a bound that they shall not pass, neither return to cover the earth. He sendeth forth springs in the valleys; between the mountains will the waters run. They shall give drink to all the beasts of the field; the wild asses will wait to quench their thirst. Beside them will the birds of the heaven lodge, from the midst of the rocks will they give voice. He watereth the mountains from His chambers; the earth shall be satisfied with the fruit of Thy works. He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and green herb for the service of men, To bring forth bread out of the earth; and wine maketh glad the heart of man. To make his face cheerful with oil; and bread strengtheneth man's heart. The trees of the plain shall be satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon, which Thou hast planted. There will the sparrows make their nests; the house of the heron is chief among them. The high mountains are a refuge for the harts, and so is the rock for the hares. He hath made the moon for seasons; the sun knoweth his going down. Thou appointedst the darkness, and there was the night, wherein all the beasts of the forest will go abroad. Young lions roaring after their prey, and seeking their food from God. The sun ariseth, and they are gathered together, and they lay them down in their dens. But man shall go forth unto his work, and to his labour until the evening. How magnified are Thy works, 0 Lord! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is filled with Thy creation. So is this great and spacious sea, therein are things creeping innumerable, small living creatures with the great. There go the ships; there this dragon, whom Thou hast made to play therein. All things wait on Thee, to give them their food in due season; when Thou givest it them, they will gather it.
Strana: Deschizând Tu mâna Ta, toate se vor umple de bunătăți, dar întorcându-ți Tu fața Ta, se vor tulbura, lua-vei duhul lor și se vor sfârși și în țărână se vor întoarce. Trimite-vei duhul Tău și se vor zidi și vei înnoi fața pământului. Fie slava Domnului în veac! Veseli-sse-va Domnul de lucrurile Sale. Cel ce caută spre pământ și-l face pe el de se cutremură; Cel ce se atinge de munți și fumegă. Cânta-voi Domnului în viața mea, cânta-voi Dumnezeului meu cât voi fi. Plăcute să-I fie Lui cuvintele mele, iar eu mă voi veseli de Domnul. Piară păcătoșii de pe pământ și cei fără de lege, ca să nu mai fie. Binecuvintează, suflete al meu, pe Domnul. Let the glory of the Lord be unto the ages; the Lord will rejoice in His works, Who looketh on the earth and maketh it tremble, Who toucheth the mountains and they smoke. I will sing unto the Lord throughout my life, I will chant to my God for as long as I have my being. May my words be sweet unto Him, and I will rejoice in the Lord.
